Fanny Bergman (Atelier)

San telmo 9
Location
Fanny Bergman de Rakover began her artistic training at a very young age and was inspired by her father, Leon Bergman. She was raised in an artistic environment with the same point of view of the art world. She later studied at the Fernando Fader school of art and continued her studies with renowned masters. Her work shows the maturity of masters such as Urruchúa, Bellocq and Cárdenas. However, there was a turning point in her artistic career in 1973, when she began experimenting on her own with Batik art. It was with this kind of art that she consolidated her maturity and innovated by changing the traditional image of this ancient art form. During this period she was part of an art research group directed by the master Emilio Renart, as well as Grupo Gen, which was directed and inspired by the same artist and was aimed at promoting creativity. In 1988 she created a special technique that makes it possible to created scupltures of ballerinas that are as fragile as the wings of a butterfly. You can visit her Art Gallery and Atelier.
