Café del Árbol is located in front of the famous Dorrego Square and its customers can be seated in a privileged area where the tables are set out on the Square under a tree. As indicated by its name, this tree is an important character of the bar itself. It is a natural rarity, since it is supposed to be an ombú (a typical local tree) but it does not have the same kind of leaves or fruit. Believe it or not. When the sun sets, the bar operates inside the café itself, with old wooden tables and Thonet chairs. You can have an excellent coffee as well as cocktails and simple meals among violins, chandeliers, pots and pans, vacuum cleaners like those used by our grandmothers hanging on the walls and caricatures by Caloi all around. Near the window there is a small stage where underground artists play from Cuban songs to covers (that is, interpretations) of Arjona, as well as Sabina and Ismael Serrano.
