This is a Patagonian theme bar created from the experience gained from a similar project in Villa Pehuenia (in a Southern Argentine province called Neuquén) which, due to the complications of life, was later abandoned. The owners try to keep the Southern spirit alive in the middle of the city in a nostalgic environment. Service is provided by the owners themselves, which gives the place a friendly touch. The decoration is country-style: the tables are made of wine barrels, there are wooden chairs and the walls are made of exposed bricks. On these walls there are paintings made by Inés Sarmenti, a Patagonian artist who makes the Southern landscapes come alive which each stroke of her brush. The food is home-made style, from the main dishes to the confectionery products. In the afternoons you can have different kinds of tea with some nice sweet pastries. Do not miss the "Welsh" cake. What is it made of? Basically raisins, honey and sugar, nuts, candied fruit and liquor. However, the recipe is the place's best-kept secret. We suspect it includes one or two tears that flow involuntarily when they think of their home in the South. At night you can enjoy a selection of wines and Southern beers from the best Patagonian cellars. It is important to mention the cold cuts: their specialties are smoked cold cuts, pickled products, appetizers and organic cheeses. And all these products come directly from Patagonian farms.
