Florencia Fiocca is a young designer with a modern, sophisticated, avant-garde but sensitive style, related to art and form. In order to understand her creations it might be necessary to know more about the life of this designer. She graduated at Universidad de Buenos Aires and started off as a wardrobe assistant for short films by Gianfranco Quattrini. She was an assistant to the Devota and Lomba duo and later participated in this Spanish company in the youth clothing line produced in Japan, named Jacomomola. When she came back to Buenos Aires, Fiocca participated in a competition inspired by The Avengers and literally filled the "Difunta Correa" (a legendary Argentine character) with ribbons for a Gaby Herbstein catalogue. Knowing this, it is probably unnecessary to mention that her clothing items have ethereal and feminine touches, but from a fun point of view, with aerodynamic forms with overlapping layers that centrifuge into twisted sheets creating volume. Each collection has its particular style, but there are no typical, normal items, colors or forms. FFiocca works with themes that range from Circuses to Insects, as well as Commedia dell'arte and Marionettes.
Not recommended for women with no personality.
