While walking down Balcarce street you will find a window full of comic books, some of which are very well known and others that are not. It is the publishing house "De los Cuatro Vientos," run by Pablo Gabriel Albornoz, which has significanly grown in the past few years and has published over 1200 books that are distributed in large book store chains such as Yenny, El Ateneo, Cúspide and Fausto. Among them there is a large collection of internationally renowned comic-books, including Star Wars, Sin City I and Sin City II. It also publishes the literary magazine Oliverio, which is distributed in all the newspaper and magazine stands in the country and is sponsored by the Department of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires. This publishing house offers independent authors the possibility of publishing their own books and organizes poetry and literature contests.
