Jorge Martinelli, co-founder of Hecho en Bs. As., a monthly magazine sold by unemployed or homeless people on the streets, started this new project with an important social purpose. The place is designed like a small train station, which is no coincidence, since Jorge's history is strongly connected to trains through his grandfather, who worked in a railway company. Due to his great interest in this topic and his creativity, for many years he searched for and recycled wood that would later be used to build Estación San Telmo, a shop designed like a train station, the perfect stop for getting to know the creations of young and independent designers that sell their items here. One of the most interesting items are some handy leather purses based on a new Hands Free concept. The good thing about this shop is that part of the money collected from sales goes to a cultural center that trains homeless people in arts and different trades, such as shoemaking and carpentry. It will also include a music school in the near future. This is a special place were art, a man's personal history, solidarity and design come together. You can't miss it!
