El Candil (Bars)

This is a typical bar which has preserved its old stained-glass doors frosted with "filetes" (typical Argentine decorative paintings), and old restaurant tables. This is a typical restaurant for Buenos Aires natives. It is a place where we take a break from our hectic week to have a nice cup of coffee or meet friends. The men come here to talk about football or women and tell each other about their feats or their lost loves. It is an great place for a first date and ideal for having the typical Buenos Aires breakfast with coffee and medialunas (sweet croissants) while reading the paper. What more can you ask for?

De verdad que uno de los mejores lugares para comer. Cuando estuve en Argentina (soy mexicano) recorrí varios lugares tanto de Sal Telmo como de otros barrios. Y ningún lugar lleva ese toque tan casero y familiar, con comida tan exquisita como El Candil. Se lo recomiendo a todo aquel que quiera disfrutar de un excelente momento. Saludos!!!

encanctador bar, típico de san telmo. Atendido por sus dueños.Con ellos podés mantener una charla de futbol, política, filosofía o lo que se te ocurra. Siempre muy bien informados y cordiales. La comida es casera y espectacular a precios bajos.
