This Hostel is located in one of those large old houses that are typical in San Telmo. The decorating, which was done by a Cuban artist, is Latin American-style; its rooms are very spacious, well-ventilated and painted white, the color of purity; all this guarantees a very comfortable stay. It is the perfect place for the trip of your dreams. At the entrance there is a long staircase with Carrara marble steps. Behind the double door is a living room with wooden floors and comfortable armchairs, large rooms with high ceilings and, of course, all the rooms lead to the colonial-style patio in the center of the house, like in the classic houses of our grandparents' generation, which were surely the setting for many afternoons spent drinking mate and eating pastries. This is just the right place to keep that tradition of ours alive.
The rooms allude to different areas in San Telmo, for example: the convent; La Manzana, which you must have visited one Sunday afternoon; the Church, the bells of which you are sure to have heard if you ever walked around Plaza Dorrego, those bells that give it such a magical touch; the classic cobblestone pedestrian street; the Plaza, a place that is so characteristic of the district and where craftsmen, tourists and locals come together; the Jockey Club and antique shops, which are truly classics here and where you can always find those forgotten items from the past. All of these elements are clearly revived in the name of each room, so that visitors can feel the warmth and joy that this historical area gives us on each street, corner or turn of the road. In order to make your stay even more pleasant, continental breakfasts and a common kitchen, where you can get in touch with other guests, are also included, in addition to WIFI for those that need to be directly connected to the world.
