Anyone who considers themselves to be a good Buenos Aires native should be able to list at least ten restaurants that mainly serve mozzarella pizza, "pizza napolitana" (made with fresh tomatoes and garlic) or fugazetta (pizza made with onion and cheese). I dare you: in 30 seconds, with no repetitions and no cheating. People from San Telmo will probably mention Tío Felipe, which is famous for its "stuffed fugazzeta, the best in Buenos Aires." It is a place frequented by neighbors and the artists working in the nearby tango bars. It is a traditional place that has not been renovated or modernized, where you will see Carlos cutting a large mozzarella pizza as placidly as usual.

Tengo un muy grato recuerdo grabado en lo mas profundo de mi cuore, recuerdo en 1989 haber recorrido la calle Balcarce desde el 400 a lo del Tio Felipe !... Ir a San Telmo y no probar la Fugazzeta rellena del Tio Felipe es como ir a Roma y no ver al Papa en el Vaticano !!!.... UN GRAN ABRAZO ROSARIGASINO DEL TORCAN RICARDO PARADISO
