Pueblo Indio produces hand-made artistic items that are based on reinterpretations of designs by different native Argentine cultures as well as Bolivian and Peruvian cultures. The idea of this group of people was to preserve the magic of traditional items when harmoniously combined with current trends. Therefore, they do not make copies of the antique objects made by native peoples but reinterpret them with the use of iron, leather, ceramics, wood and even plant fibers. They use colors that adapt to the style of modern houses; their favorites are ocher, dark red and black. They use these resources to create original pieces that can be adapted to modern decoration and styles. Therefore, their hand-made tables, tapestries, sculptures, mirrors and accessories blend with and add coziness to today's environments. You can't miss the tapestries made with "misionero" paper (a local type of light-brown paper) that are both delicate and country-style. At first sight they look like leather, but they are made of paper on which a collage is applied. The team leader is "Indio Millán," who was born in Buenos Aires, in the Mapuche tribe (an Amerindian tribe) of Valdés and was raised by his grandparents, who taught him to treasure his Amerindian heritage.

J'ai adoré découvrir vos oeuvres à Buenos Aires...et aimerais les revoir!Existe t il des expos ou des magasins déco en France? Paris? Toulouse(ma ville?) Ou bien peut on trouver un catalogue ? Merci de me répondre.
